If we HAVE to have a "national champion" (spoiler, we DON'T), Buford is the only choice. I wouldn't risk ten cents on a bet for them to beat the top 3 in Trinity league; Bishop Gorman; or the two academies that pay and house players. But, that's not an argument for awarding any of those teams over unbeaten-in-a-power-state Buford.
