......going on 15 years.
They're not even really a factor these days.
It may be another 15 years considering Florida's total collapse and colossal failures this year.
The social media articles have been brutal..... 13 of Florida's Top 25 teams thumped by other states Even tiny shitty Louisiana bent Florida over.
But, but Redzone > we play all the best teams. Boo hoo, boo hoo to somebody else.
Mater Dei now has 2 losses and #1 Florida St Thomas Aquinas had to mount a desperation comeback just to make that game look respectable.......and etc down the line.
Anyways, it is what it is.
The last Florida team to win the MNC was in 2013 > Booker T Washington, Miami.
2025? Booker T Washington is (2-6) and not even competitive.
Orange Lutheran, CA thumped #4 Florida Miami Northwestern and Orange Lutheran has 4 losses now and may not win another game this year.
I've seen some National Polls that have Miami Northwestern in the Top 25. 😮
Yeah, buddy!
So back to what I was saying about Evangel
Evangel Christian has won 6 state championships since 2004
2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2016
2004 they went 11-3
Loss to Longview TX 21-24
loss to Abilene TX 14-19
loss to Springdale AR 14-38
beat 3 loss TX high 9-2
2005 they went 12-3
loss to Texas High 10-45
loss to Longview 14-52
loss to Springdale AR 7-35
2006 they went 12-2
loss to Lufkin, TX 14-24
loss to Carroll TX 16-43
2009 they went 14-1
loss to Shiloh Christian 36-37
2010 they went 12-2
loss to Union Oklahoma 32-44
2016 they went 12-2
loss to Allen TX 10-45

Almost 15 years of Florida being irrelevant has fried your gay brain, Gaybob813.
Remember back when you when you used to invade all the state threads talking gay s***......... you don't do that anymore!

It's a pretty impressive feat for Evangel. Dominating Lousiana for 14 years and at the same time getting their head beat in by any OOS team they are stupid enough to play. Lol.
All 6 championship years have an instance, sometimes two, sometimes 3 of them getting their head beat in by an out of state team.
Thats pretty impressive
2013 was a good year. Booker T won the MNC, and the worst STA team in 2 decades beat the tar out of Losuiana State champion John lift up your Skirtus Curtis!!!!!!
Did you ever see the update? The panhandle of Florida is an eye popping 60-31 in the last 66 (SIXTY-SIX) years against the entire state of Louisiana!!!

And no I didn't cherry pick the 60-31. That's all the games. That's State champ St Charles Catholic beating 0-10 Tate. That's champ John Curtis beating 1-9 and 2-8 Choctaw. That's Curtis beating 3-7 Washington. And so on
And if you're asking where is the STA killing of state champ John Curtis, and the 53-0 obliteration Deerfield put on top 10 Zachary, and the 31-7 demolition little 3A AH-Delray put on top 10 West Monroe???
Sorry this is just what the panhandle AKA the worst part of Florida did to Louisiana
I forgot about that. Little 3A AH-Delray who got thrown out of the 3A second round, went to West Monroe and was beating them so bad they were taking knees in the 4th near the goal line to not embarrass them already up 31-7. They called the dogs off because they felt bad.
West Monroe marched to the state semis and lost a miracle. The game was such a miracle, that I think they made a movie about it. lol.
WM finished 8th in the state that year I believe
I've crushed GayBob813's feelings yet again.
Just how gay is that guy?
Now he's posting scores of Florida teams beating 0-10 Louisiana schools.
This gay dude is so desperate to be relevant it's painful. We've all seen a Gaybob813 in our lives. You know the kind of guy I'm talking about.
Anyways, it's possible Florida may have 6 or 7 state champions this year that have failed miserably OOS
It happens....
I remember the Coach for AH-Delray was Hella pissed at his team because up 31-7 they ran the ball and the coach wanted to kneel it to keep the score down.
He said if you embarrass them now they won't give us a return game. "But coach, they are top 10 in the state with countless titles. Surely they won't cancel."
Spoiler alert, they canceled. 😡
We all don't get to play teams like Stephenville, Oak Grove, Madison Ridgeland , and Los Angeles Cathedral. LMAO!!!!
Florida top 10 teams lose to teams like Mater Dei, SJB, SFA, etc etc
Louisiana top 10 teams lose to Stephenville, Oak Grove and Madison Ridgeland.
It's night and day
I still can't believe they kept Ruston as the number 2 team in Lousiana after they lost 28-12, (28-6 late in the 4th) to Stephenville.
That's gotta be the craziest story of the year so far in HSFB
Folks
Gaybob813 is a pathological liar, but then most of you know this already.
I'm glad I was able to crush his feelings yet again though. It's so easy and actually fun sometimes.
But I'm bored with it.
Florida is just an overgrown Mississippi and Louisiana.
Louisiana and Mississippi have very nice stadiums though and most all play on turf unlike Florida.
Most people don't care anything at all about football in Florida.

There are no lies. You just say they are but never point them out when asked
In the last 17 years, Florida teams have beaten state champions from 17 DIFFERENT states!!!
That's what you call skins on the wall. How many state champs has Louisiana beat in the last 17 years? Or last 117 years?
60-31 the last 66 years. Man I know that's gotta burn Red Flag.
Louisiana won't come within 20 games in either of our lifetimes! LMAO!
But I wouldn't bet on it the way John Curtis schedules the worst FL teams they can find like 1-9 Choctaw, or 2-8 Escambia.
One of the most impressive panhandle wins Red Flag likes to ignore is when 7-3 Escambia in 2003 best state finalist 13-2 John Curtis. Lol.
Escambia missed the playoffs in a 3 team district!! LMAO! The district had 2 other teams who got blown out in the 1st and 2nd round.
Meanwhile John Curtis steamrolled to the title game losing a heartbreaker to the top team in Lousiana.
Those are the type of games littered in this 60-31 list
A good ol' flame war in the spirit of PrepGridiron!
HS MNCs are strictly a product of how good the single, very best team is. St. Frances may well win a MNC one day. That hardly speaks to the quality of Maryland HS football. The 2021 Graham-Kapowsin team probably had a case for MNC (didn't come close simply because no one had heard of them), but that wouldn't suddenly mean Washington state is the top state for HS football, or even that WA is better than Georgia (who's top team GK beat). This is a dumb coversation.

It's a drive by thread by a small pecker head who is short in the trousers and takes it out on us. Plus he's from a state where it's off brand football. It's store brand and not in a good way.

John Curtis ended up #7 In Louisiana.
2017 U-High

Anyways, Grayson beat John Curtis 22-10. Grayson ended up ranked #5 in Georgia.
I remember Grayson not quite living up to their hype. Personally, I really wasn't all that impressed with Grayson. They made a couple more plays in the fourth quarter.
Grayson was ranked Preseason #6 nationally in 2017...... they ended up ranked #75 and not even winning a Georgia state championship. They did manage to beat the very small Christian school from New Orleans 22-10 with their stacked roster. . 😭

You do realize California, Texas, New York, Ohio and Michigan all have more high school football teams than Florida right?
And if FL should have 10 SFA's with double the teams as Louisiana then that means Louisana should have 5. They have zero. And never had anything close.
So GA number 5 drove 600 back breaking hours on a bus and beat the number 7 Louisana team by 2 scores in their state.
Seems legit. John Curtis didn't win state the same way they did after getting thrown around by Longview, Trinity and STA during their championship years. But they were still a force in Louisiana though!
I think it's great people remember John Curtis though.
The Polls would look a lot more serious if they just parked John Curtis at #22 every year and let them play their way out of the poll.

Florida's just like 46 other states now.
The best they can hope for is getting 1 team, maybe squeaking 2 in the Top 25 somewhere.

We won and in the end, that was all that mattered. The key was our head coach in his first head coach role won over the man, the myth, the legend coach that never lost. There was lots of hype for John Curtis both the coach and the school.

As if that absolves the consensus number 2 team in Louisiana getting boat raced by them in 2025.

Texas has the best overall top to bottom followed closely by Georgia
Florida is a distant 4th due to lack of resources and coaching pay.

Being this seems so difficult.
Texas plays the best high school football and it's not even close or debatable.
Ruston, La beat Top 10 6A D2 semifinalist Longview last year 21-10 in Texas.
Southlake Carroll beat Longview 20-17 in OT in the semi-finals.
