I think the margins between a lot of these teams are pretty small. You could shuffle them up in a hat and pull names to come up with a top 10 that could be right.
1. Archbishop Hoban (6-1) (previously #1, beat Glenville 12-9): Trailing 9-5 heading into the fourth quarter and backed up on their own 1 yard line, Hoban's human bulldozer Brayton Feister busted past a Glenville defense that was loaded up looking for the safety and it was off to the races for 99 yard TD run that proved to be the game winner. Offense was predictably at a premium in this matchup that pitted two loaded defenses and two vanilla offenses that just rely on out-athleting their opponents. The Knights have an interesting matchup this week against an undefeated Central York team out of PA, but I'm pretty sure they blasted this team last year. 10/17 v. Central York (PA).
2. Elder (8-0) (previously #2, beat Highlands (KY) 40-16): No letdown this week after the big win over Moeller. Elder should be able to clinch the #1 seed in R4 with a win this week over a 7-1 Chatard team that will give them some good level 2 playoff points. They will have to go on the road to get it done. 10/17 @ Bishop Chatard (IN).
3. St. Edward (7-1) (previously #3, beat Clarkson North 42-23): Offense was rolling early and often in one of the more efficient performances the Eagles have had this year. Defense played very well in the first half before letting up some second half TD's. That's a trend they have to break heading into these next two weeks and the playoffs. North Carolina offensive guard commit Mason Wilhelm made his starting debut at DT to try and help shore up a defensive line that has struggled against bigger offensive lines. He's played there in goal line packages previously, but will likely be pulling double duty the next two weeks against Moeller and Hoban who are both massive on the offensive line. 10/18 v. Archbishop Moeller.
4. Archbishop Moeller (6-2) (previously #4, beat Ignatius 42-10): Moeller is reportedly close to full health after having a number of starters out the past few weeks. That should make for a very entertaining day in Lakewood this Saturday as they head north to take on Ed's. Big test for both teams which put on a good show last year in Cincinnati with Moeller winning 35-30. I expect offensive fireworks in this one again as both teams have explosive play ability with their skill players. 10/18 @ St. Edward.
5. Olentangy Orange (8-0) (previously #5, beat Upper Arlington 28-14): After three weeks of mediocre to bad opponents, Orange finally played one of the other top teams in Columbus. It was knotted at 14 at the half but Orange was able to add a few second half scores while the defense pitched the second half shutout. Solid road win but not enough to make a jump up just yet. 10/17 v. Hilliard Bradley.
6. Walsh Jesuit (6-1) (previously #6, idle): Walsh was idle due to the Ursuline cancellation, and there is a possibility that their game against SVSM could be cancelled as the Irish are dealing with injuries and some sort of skin rash that has spread amongst players on the team that forced them to cancel their game last weekend. If they play this game it should be a blood bath. Otherwise, not good to have two off weeks this late in the season as you are gearing up for the playoffs. 10/17 @ Akron St. Vincent St. Mary.
7. Anderson (8-0) (previously #7, beat Walnut Hills 53-16): Anderson has destroyed every opponent to date, but the only impressive win has been against Kings. That changes this week as they will square off against one of the best defensive teams in the state in Winton Woods. If they can manage to blow out the Warriors a jump in the rankings may be necessary. 10/17 @ Winton Woods.
8. Avon (7-1) (previously #8, beat Amherst 34-0): Avon is playing their best football to date. Rival Avon Lake is up next, but Avon has owned this series as of late and hasn't lost to the Shoreman since 2021. I expect the dominance to continue. 10/17 v. Avon Lake.
9. Bishop Watterson (7-0) (previously #9, beat Bishop Hartley 57-7): Watterson dismantled Hartley in a similar fashion to what Walsh did to them a few weeks ago. Hard to see any team standing in their way of a repeat in D3. 10/17 @ Northwest.
10. Pickerington North (7-1) (previously others, bear Grove City 31-21): North jumps back into the top 10 following the Glenville loss to Hoban. A lot of teams could have an argument for a top ten spot, but I think North was the best victory of among that group by virtue of the win over Pick Central. 10/17 v. New Albany.
Others: Pick Central, Mentor, Glenville, Princeton, St. X, Highland, Wadsworth, Massillon, Olentangy, Canton McKinley, Trotwood-Madison, TCC, Big Walnut, Whitmer, Lakota West

St Edward has owned Moeller since 2010.
Easy money today betting the Iggy guys at my Club giving them Moeller & 3 points after they lost 42-10 the week before to Moeller.
I payed my dues today on this game.

Sorry I should post more often
I expected that many points from Ed's, just not that few from Moeller.

Interesting result from Maryland over the weekend with Bishop McNamara playing DeMatha in a tight 12-7 game. Ed's boat-raced McNamara a few weeks ago and I figured nationally ranked DeMatha would as well.
