Title: Inspire the City Invitational Live Stream
Post by: Redzone on Sep 12, 2025, 06:23 AM
The 2nd game anyways. Will probably be a late start somewhere around 9:00 pm

Edna Karr (NOLA) vs American Heritage Plantation, FL

There is going to be a TON of big time athletes/prospects in this game. College recruiters will be everywhere.

Edna Karr is so very fast and aggressive on defense. I hope it doesn't cost them. AHP took a loss last week 28-24 to CM taking some of the shine off this game. Still a Top 25 matchup.

With all the 5* and 4* prospects in this game a 3* could be the game changer.

Edna Karr 3* Slot/Returner Greg Wilfred doesn't run a 10.1 100 Meters like the DLS kid, but Wilfred has a 4.38 Forty on his resume. He will be the quickest and fastest player on the field tonight and easy to spot..

I feel like he's going to do something tonight..... kick off return, punt return, maybe a jet sweep.....something big that might change the game.

Greg Wilfred 5-9 179 lbs of muscle and speed. 👇

Karr and Lousiana need this one bad. Florida took some lumps this year against a slew of national powerhouses but none of the games the FL team was favored in. Edna Karr is the clear favorite in this. Undefeated and rolling. AHP is reeling from a loss last week and the 5 star QB is banged up. Karr gets to sleep in their bed comfortably knowing that the refs will be in the favor. It's set up perfect.

Florida has beaten state champs from like 15 different states over the years Louisiana included.

Lousiana hasn't beaten squat expect some 2nd round TX teams and obscure Mississippi squads no one has heard of.

Louisana needs a skin on the wall bad!!!!

Breaking development:

5* AHP QB Dia Bell may be done for the year ....... no one really knows for certain, but American Heritage Plantation did pick up a QB from Miami Northwestern this week.
The transfer has been confirmed, but not the injury.

Common Sense said something's up!

Rummel up 30-17 over 3A #1 U-High (Baton Rouge) with just over a minute left.
The Rummel OL is massive just leaned on U-High in the second half.

Edna Karr/AHP will start in about 30 minutes or so.

AHP doesn't stand a chance with a WR at quarterback. Karr should get a free win tonight

Karr has a good offense. AHP without Bell. Not so much. AHP's defense is gonna have to carry them

This AHP Pop Warner offense is hard to watch

10-7 Heritage which is crazy because AHP has a wide receiver as a quarterback and their running back is injured. AHP basically has a 2nd team offense right now

Sheesh these refs are trying everything they can to keep Karr in the game

Refs did their job. Got Karr in the end zone.

Refs weren't letting Karr out without a win. Ugly game. Can't win with a WR at quarterback

No the jersey was being pulled. It almost ripped off. Unless grabbing the jersey is a horse collar

Yes it was....

Very sloppy win for Edna Karr....... they ran 42 plays in the second half while AHP ran 14 plays....totally controlled the line of scrimmage and the field position, but just couldn't score any points. Reminds me of LSU racking up first downs.

AHP played well though and are definitely battle tested. Hit on a couple big plays tonight, but they really didn't move the ball that well. Their defense played great!

To answer your question this was part of a double header which got started at 6:00 p.m. tonight

Post by: Redzone on Sep 12, 2025, 10:34 PM
AHP had 13 penalties tonight
Edna Karr had 12 penalties tonight
That happens sometimes when you have a ton of athletes on the field battling each other.

A few years back Miami Central and Miami Northwestern combined for like 50 penalties......

That said.
Edna Karr is going to have to clean it up if they plan on winning another state championship.

Last play in overtime. The walk-off hold. 👇
Edna Karr had a very nice crowd in the Superdome.
They may have to move this event to Saturday next year and start it at 3:00 pm

A crazy thing ...

Last year AHP Star QB Dia Bell was hurt in the second round of the playoffs and left the game trailing 14-0 to Dillard in the 3rd quarter. AHP's backup QB was their WR who was committed to Miami. They put him in and AHP came back  won the game 24-14........AHP would go on to win the state championship with the WR at QB as Bell was done for the year.

This year Dia Bell goes down and their back up QB is a WR committed to Georgia Tech. They ran the same exact plays vs Edna Karr as last year with the other WR at QB.

My question is.
Why doesn't AHP have a legit backup QB.....QB2 if you will.
I don't guess I really understand that, but it tells me AHP has no idea who their QB is going to be next year.  To the portal!
